Hi, I’m Lisa Garza, a dedicated therapist who combines my experience as a counselor and special education teacher to support each client’s unique needs. With over six years of counseling experience and more than a decade working with students with learning differences and ADHD, I understand how emotional and developmental challenges intersect. My approach is tailored to every individual, helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.

I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life transitions. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist-Individual (CCTS-I) and EMDR Trained Therapist, I take a holistic approach to therapy, integrating mind, body, and spirit through evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, EMDR, and somatic techniques. I see therapy as a partnership, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can reconnect with yourself and build the tools to heal and grow.

Outside of work, I love hiking, spending time in nature, and enjoying moments with my family, friends, and pets. I also find joy in reading, meditating, and yoga. My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help you find balance, confidence, and resilience to face life’s ups and downs.

I’m currently accepting new clients and offer telehealth sessions in the afternoons and evenings.
